Tarrant County, TX — August 5, 2024, Adrian Lopez and three others were injured in a car accident shortly before 4:45 p.m. along Watauga Road.
According to authorities, 48-year-old Adrian Lopez and a 13-year-old boy were traveling in a westbound Chevrolet Malibu on Watauga Road at the Park Vista Boulevard intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a collision took place between the front-end of the Malibu and the front-right of an eastbound Hyundai Sonata occupied by a 44-year-old man and a 6-year-old boy which had been attempting to make a left turn to head north on Park Vista.
Lopez, the man from the Sonata, and the boy from the Malibu each suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck. The boy from the Sonata sustained minor injuries, as well, according to reports. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
