Accident Report
June 9, 2026, two people were injured following an 18-wheeler accident at around 2:15 p.m. along Interstate 10.
Investigators said that the accident happened along the interstate between Smith Road and Boyt Road, southwest of Beaumont.
Authorities said two people were in a pickup going along the interstate when the driver hit their brakes. Following this, one 18-wheeler hit the back of the pickup, and two other 18-wheelers then crashed into those vehicles.
Due to the accident, reports say that the driver and passenger in the pickup had non-life-threatening injuries. There did not appear to be any other injuries.
