Karen Kennedy is an experienced trial lawyer who has won numerous products liability and commercial vehicle accident cases across the state of Texas.
Karen was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Upon graduating high school, she was admitted to the University of Texas in Austin, where she earned her bachelors degree with special honors in Plan II, an exclusive degree program that only the 100 most talented students are invited to participate in. Karen then earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Baylor Law School in Waco.
Karen began her legal career at the firm of Alice and Associates, where she practiced business litigation. Several years later, she made the switch to personal injury law and went to work for The Ammons Law Firm in Houston. While at Ammons, Karen gained considerable experience helping clients with cases involving refinery and industrial accidents, commercial vehicle accidents, and product defects. The two cases she's most proud of are a distracted-driving case that she resolved for $15.1 million and an electrocution case that resulted in an $8.2 million recovery.
Grossman Law Offices ultimately persuaded Karen to join our team where she is an invaluable part of our operation. Karen is known around the office for her immense knowledge of Texas personal injury and wrongful death law and for her intense drive and focus.
In addition to work, Karen enjoys spending time with her three adult children, practicing karate, reading, doing yoga, and traveling.
