Worker Killed by Reversing Tractor Trailer

A Pilgrim's Pride night shift supervisor was killed when he was struck and pinned by the wheels of an 18-wheeler truck which was approaching a loading dock.

The family of the decedent hired the attorneys at Grossman Law Offices to investigate the cause of the accident and to pursue a wrongful death lawsuit against all responsible parties.

Drunken Driver Kills Motorcyclist

Our attorneys were hired to investigate a drunk driving accident whereby a motorcyclist was killed by an intoxicated driver. The accident occurred as the intoxicated driver rear ended the motorcyclist at a high rate of speed.

The motorcycle became stuck to the front bumper of the defendant's vehicle whereby he dragged the motorcycle for approximately ¼ mile before coming to a rest. The family of the decedent hired our attorneys to pursue a wrongful death claim against the defendant drunken driver.

18-Wheeler Leaves Roadway & Causes Fatal Accident

The family of a man killed by an 18-wheeler hired our attorneys to investigate and litigate against a negligent trucking company. The fatal collision occurred shortly after a minor collision on a Houston highway, whereby two gentleman were involved in a minor accident which caused them to pull onto the shoulder to exchange information.

The driver of an 18-wheeler drove off of the roadway and onto the shoulder, striking the back of one of the aforementioned vehicles. The collision completely destroyed one of the vehicles which claimed the life of the vehicle's occupant.

Drunk Driver Rear-Ends Vehicle Killing a Four-Year-Old Child

A four-year-old girl was killed and several others were injured when a drunken driver collided with the back of a family's vehicle. The accident occurred in the early evening hours as the intoxicated driver left a restaurant that is alleged to have over served him.

The family of the deceased child hired our firm to pursue a wrongful death suit against the responsible defendants.

Woman Fatally Ejected From Vehicle After Being Over-Served Alcohol

Grossman Law Offices was hired to investigate the mysterious death of a young mother who was ejected from a moving vehicle. Our investigation uncovered that the young woman was served an obscene quantity of alcohol, in direct violation of the TABC serving code, which resulted in her having a blood alcohol content that was nearly 4 times the legal limit.

In her intoxicated state the young woman accidentally opened the door of the vehicle she was traveling in and fell onto the roadway. Our firm filed a dram shop wrongful death lawsuit against the major chain restaurant that had over served the decedent.

Woman Killed in 18-Wheeler Cargo-Shift Accident

Grossman Law Offices was hired to pursue a wrongful death claim by the family of a woman killed in an 18-wheeler truck accident. The woman was a passenger in the truck, which somehow lost control before wrecking.

A load-shift had caused the tractor trailer's cargo, which consisted of frozen meats, to break through the front of the trailer, crash into the big rig truck's cab, and fatally injure our client. Police had remarked that this accident was one of the worst tractor trailer accidents they had ever seen.

Young Woman Killed in Accident With Tanker Truck

Grossman Law Offices was hired on behalf of the parents and minor child of a 20-year-old woman who was killed in an accident with a commercial vehicle.

The young woman was a passenger in a vehicle which struck a disabled 18-wheeler tanker truck. The stalled truck had no lights on, and was stopped in the middle of highway 79 at approximately 2:00 am.

The newscast simply places blame on the driver of the car. Luckily for the family of the victim, our firm was hired to conduct an independent investigation following the accident.

Young Man Killed On-The-Job in Grain Silo Accident

The lawyers at Grossman Law Offices were hired by the family of a 21-year-old worker who was killed when a Russell, Kansas grain elevator suffered a structural failure and collapsed, killing two.

The young man, who had not been working at the grain elevator long, died after being buried alive in grain and structural debris for about 3 hours. Officials have said that the cause of the collapse was not attributed to the victims involved.

Truck Driver Killed in Accident With Two Other 18-Wheelers

The family of a truck driver hired Grossman Law Offices to investigate and litigate claims for wrongful death damages against two trucking companies for their contribution to a fatal collision.

The accident occurred as two 18-wheelers, fully laden with cargo, stopped in the middle of the highway blocking all lanes of traffic, thereby causing a third truck to crash into them as he rounded a bend. The resulting carnage was described by the Highway Patrol as being the worst trucking accident to ever occur in the state of Florida.

Teen Killed While in the Care of an Assisted Living Facility

The father of a teenage boy hired Grossman Law Offices to investigate and pursue a wrongful death claim against an assisted living facility. The facility was accused of using torturous disciplinary tactics which ultimately lead to the young man's death.

On November 1st, 2010, the facility was notified that they had been put on a 1-year probationary period due to repeated violations. Four days later the teenager was dead. The preliminary cause of death is listed as asphyxiation.

Fatal Car Accident Due to Reckless Driving

The parents of a female mail carrier hired the attorneys at Grossman Law Offices to pursue a wrongful death claim against a construction company after a fatal car accident.

As the mail carrier slowed to make a left-hand turn, an employee of a construction company attempted an illegal passing maneuver, striking the deceased victim's car on the driver's side as she was making the turn. The force of the impact caused the victim's vehicle to roll over and eject the driver.

In April of 2009, a 71-year-old school crossing guard was run over while helping a mother and her child to cross the intersection of South Denley and Lynn Haven avenues in Oak Cliff, Texas. The driver of vehicle is suspected of driving while under the influence. The victim's family hired the wrongful death lawyers at Grossman Law Offices to investigate the accident and file a wrongful death suit against the defendant.

3 Killed in Accident After Defendant Runs Red Light

The families of three decedents hired our attorneys to pursue a wrongful death claim against a defendant that ran a red light in a full-size truck, killing all three occupants of a compact car.

After allegedly being over-served alcohol at a Galveston bar, Mr. Shelton crashed his vehicle into 2 pedestrians walking their dog along Seawall Blvd. Both pedestrians (and the dog) were killed. Grossman Law Offices was hired to investigate. We determined that the drunk driver was served well-past the point of obvious intoxication, which led to a dram shop lawsuit being filed against the bar for their portion of fault.

The family of an elderly woman hired Grossman Law Offices after the woman died of heat stroke when her apartment complex stalled on repairing her air conditioning unit.

Couple Dies After Striking Disabled Farm Vehicle on Road

Our attorneys were hired by two families when a young couple was killed and a passenger left comatose with a traumatic brain injury following a fatal traffic accident whereby a farm vehicle suffered a mechanical failure and stopped in a lane of traffic. The stalled vehicle did not have any visible lighting and was illegally traveling in the HOV lane at the time that it broke down.
